FZ-360 FUZZ
Want something a bit different to the diode clipping overdrives, benders & fuzz faces ?
The FZ360 is based on the fuzz circuit from a classic bass amp from the 1960’s (Acoustic 360 bass amp as used by Led Zeppelin, Jaco Pastorius & Larry Graham among others), we added our own touches, to enhance versatility, while keeping the touch sensitivity and enhancing clarity.
- FUZZ controls the amount of dirt from the two fuzz stages and goes from fairly clean to very nasty while retaining some jangliness even at extreme fuzz settings.
- BASS, MID and TREBLE are a classic 3 knob tone stack based on the circuit from the original Acoustic 360 amp
- VOLUME adjusts the overall volume out of the pedal.
While this fuzz circuit originally came from a bass amp, and while it rips and roars on bass, it sings, wails and shrieks on guitar. Turn the fuzz down low for classic early 70’s rock tones, or crank it for much more modern sounds. The 3 band EQ lets you tone-sculpt your sound precisely.
Mozztronics uses the industry standard Boss style 2.1mm center negative 9V DC socket for the power supply connection.
